Day 11: Make something with crochet thread
Normally I would make something like this, of the doily variety. I love doilies. They easily dress up a table top or dresser making a room feel dainty and I like Elizabeth Bennet.

Ok, I’m just showing off. I’ve made a lot of doilies! BUT, today I did something else with thread.
Behold, the petal scarf. It was really easy to make (you can find the pattern here on the Coats & Clark website.) The pattern calls for size 3 fashion crochet thread and a size D hook. Size 3 thread is a bit thicker than the size 10 I traditionally use for doilies and most other thread projects and a D hook is found in a regular crochet hook set (doesn’t require a smaller steel hook typically used for thread).
